Joshua Tree Golden Hour

Hiiii ya pepes.

I am strugglin a tad' this Monday morning because I just got home from a rad weekend away in the desert. And I really do not want to accept the fact that I have to go to work today.. Ugh.

Buuuut, the good thing about weekend getaways is that once its over, its time to plan the next adventure.

Am I right? Or am I right?

Well, this past weekend was spent in the beautiful town of Joshua Tree. This was the first time I have ever been to Joshua Tree and my goodness, it was so beautiful and peaceful. Driving into Joshua Tree from Los Angeles was like driving into another world. Everything and everyone seemed to just take life a whole lot slower there. And that was definitely a nice change and refresher for the weekend.

Now onto my outfit.

I brought this kinda-maxi dress with me to Joshua Tree because I felt like it really embodied the whole "deserty" feels. It is made by the great Amuse Society, who else right? They tend to create the cutest and most unique pieces/prints that remind me of warm days in the desert. OHHH, and this exact dress is 50% off right now.. get on that right now babes.

You can find the dress my clicking HERE

You all probably have seen my bag before in a few Instagram shots, and also a post from a few weeks ago. Its by Elle Jay bags if you needed a quick reminder, and you can check them out on their Instagram @ElleJay.bags

THIS BAG IS SO CUTE. I AM OBSESSED.

Thanks for reading boo's. Another Joshua Tree post will be up soon ;)

Hehe.

75 Degrees and sunny

Hiiii!

Its January 21st, and it is 75 degrees today... so yeah, basically perfect right? Southern California really does have the best weather in the world. These past few weeks have been pretty chilly (under 65 degrees haha) so this morning I woke up feeling so great since it felt a lil' like summer time.

Heck ya to that.

So obviously I had to pull out this little cutie from my closet that's made by Tularosa. Aka, my favorite brand. The color is this light peach shade and it is the perfect color for my basically transparent skin.. I need a tan asap. This dress comes in like a billion different colors so it is seriously so simple finding the right shade for your complexion.

You can find the same dress by clicking Here!

Now lets talk about the adorable little bucket bag I'm wearing. The price for this bag was ONLY $21.00. Yes. Only $21.00.

I know, wut.

I am such a sucker for Instagram posts, and ASOS posted this little bag on their Instagram and I had a "I need this" type of moment. It was a spontaneous purchase but honestly, I have worn it every single day this past week. So I think the $21.00 was worth it, don't yaa think so too?

Unfortunately, this bag is completely sold out! :( But I'll link a few similar ones below:

Free The Shoulders

 Hey Dolls!

How has everyone's New Year been?! Mine so far has been relaxing, which is exactly what I needed. My New Year was actually spent IN because I got this horrible cold.. UGH. But honestly, I am such a homebody anyways that I didn't even mind staying in bed all day. hehe.

I finally felt better today so I decided to put on this adorable little off the shoulder top and head to one of my favorite places in my town. I can literally walk around nursery's for hours just browsing around at all the different plants and flowers.

I actually bought this top last summer from REVOLVE Clothing and kinda of just lost it in the back of my closet, so sad, I know. But I am so happy that it came back into my life because it is perfect. The color is this light pale pink and I feel like it suits my fair skin so well. And it also is just so darn comfortable!

OH, and BTW. This top is on sale right now, and you can buy it Here!

I have worn these mules before but uggggh, they are so cute that I couldn't help myself but to include them again. Free People just really knows what they are doing. I wish I could own every pair of shoes that they make.

I can't wait to start sporting these cuties during each season with little dresses and playsuits. EEEK. I literally just got so excited thinking about it.

I swear.

These come in an off-white shade as well. Hmmmmmm... do not be too surprised if the white one's pop up on this blog soon. ;)

I just cannot help myself. Help, I have a shopping problem.

Ugh, blogging can be so freaking fun, I can't even stand it.

Lil' readers, I hope you have a lovely week ahead of you! Talk to you soon.

The Little Floral Slip

Happy 2016! I cannot believe 2015 is already over. This past year was so amazing, and so many exciting things happened.

This adorable little slip I am wearing is made my Free People (who else right?) and ugh, it's so cute. Free People had an amazing sale last week where all their sale items were an additional 30% off, and I freaked out a bit. I may have went a little too crazy and bought some unnecessary items, but Free People hardly ever has sales! Who can blame me?!  This slip was one of my favorites that I picked up. I am literally a Free People dress hoarder, and I must say, the way this one fits tops my list.. 100%.

You can still buy the dress by clicking Here

A little dress that is flowy, floral, and colorful is the key to my heart. Hehe.

I have been dying for a pair of Mules boots for ever. While browsing the sale I came across the most adorable pair ever! They are the ones I am wearing above and I since receiving them last Monday, I am already guilty of wearing them four times.. whoops.

I must admit though, they are not the most comfortable and after only a few hours, your heels will start aching. But fashion is pain right? I wore them to the mall yesterday for a full day of shopping, and by the end of the day I was almost in tears from the pain. So while I am in love with these mules, they are the best for short periods of time.

You can still find them by clicking Here!

Well my loves, I hope you have a sparkling New Years Day that is filled with many many drinks and goodies ;) What is your New Year's resolution?

Later, Loves

Brisk Florals // FP

Hey Hey Hey! Today is Christmas eve! Woooohooo's to that!

This morning I headed to Downtown LA to my favorite (or everyone's favorite, to be correct) cafe, Urth Cafe. Yuuuuum, oh my, it is so good.. that spanish latte'. Ugh.

I just picked up this amazing little slip from Free People, and I am obsessed with it. First of all, the color cannot get anymore perfect. It is ideal for winter because it is a darker floral print, but then again, it would be ahhhh-mazing for spring/summer because it is so light and flowy. I can already tell that I am going to be getting a whole lot of wear out of this little one. Oh and by the way... I LOVE floral anything.

Don't even get my started with my wrap necklace. UGH. I am so in luuuv with it. It is from Vanessa Mooney, and it is this gorgeous burgundy shade. It is completely suede, which rules too.

Vanessa Mooney anythinggg is such great quality and I would totally recommend investing in a few pieces. This wrap necklace has been out of stock for ever, and once I saw it back I placed my order as soon as possible. It can wrap around your neck so many different ways! I am so excited to try different ways with outfits. hehe.

You can buy this necklace Here!

You can grab this amazing slip Here!

I love the Arts district in Downtown LA. It is one of my favorite areas of LA, even though it can get a tad grimey every once in awhile. But honestly, I think that's why I love it. When a place is too clean and perfect, it almost makes me feel uncomfortable. Maybe that's why I love LA so much.

Well lovelies, if you haven't been to Urth Cafe.. GO. It is a must see if you are visiting or living in LA. I cannot even tell you how many times I have been, I am obsessed.

Have a safe a fun holiday! Merry Christmas. Eat a lot of goodies ;)

Fall Prints // Southern California Fall Attire

Heyyyyy ya Dolls!

Wow, the weather has been burning up lately in SoCal, and even though it is technically "Fall" it sure does not feel like it. So, you gotta make due with what you got, so I decided to incorporate my favorite fall colors and prints in a weather appropriate outfit. I know I always say what I am wearing is my favorite.. but really guys this time, this romper is my favorite piece I own. Ask anyone who knows me well, and they will be very familiar with this romper since I try to wear it on a weekly basis.. ugh help me.

But can you blame me?!? Its gorgeous! First off, the way it ties on the back of your neck is totally and super flattering, and also extremely comfortable. It kinda looks like a dress when just standing in place, so it gives off a more "dressed up" look... even though it has shorts ;) Oh yes, this romper is from Free People, duh... who else.

The bag I am carrying is by Rebecca Minkoff, and I purchased it through my second home, Revolve Clothing. I have been eyeing this bad for awhile, so I decided that it would be worth the investment. Fringe is a huge fall essential this season, so I definitely recommend grabbing this purse for yourself, or even just something similar. Fringe just always seems to "dress down" any outfit, which I like, because I tend to gravitate towards fancier and not practical "everyday" pieces.. whoops.

How's the weather like where you are living? Please don't make me too jealous..

Thanks for reading cuties ;)
