Bodysuits and Boyfriend's

Happy happy Monday!

This past week I began my internship (which is totally awesome btw), but it has added an extra 12 hours to my work week.

Ugh. Over 40 hours per week of work. Can I go back to being a kid again?

So this morning when I arrived to my internship, I went in to clock in and they decided that they "didn't need me" today. Lol, and I was completely okay with that. So I rushed home and got into pjs ASAP.

This past Sunday I hung out in downtown Santa Monica (my fav) since the weather has been so beautiful. Whenever I hangout in SM, I just want to shop and eat all day. That's normal right? There are just so many options to choose from and I just cannot help myself.

hehe.

I kept it basic though and ate lunch at Tender Greens. Sadly, there is not a Tender Greens within about 20 miles from my house so whenever I am close by I just have to grab some food. Mmmmmm.. their mashed potatoes. If you have had them, you know exactly what I am talking about.

I got this bodysuit recently from Revolve Clothing and I am OBSESSED with it. I am actually just obsessed with bodysuits in general lately but this one is just everything I could ever ask for in a bodysuit. The material is SO soft and it actually has 5% spandex in it so its super stretchy.

Perrrrrf for a lil' food belly. Am I right??!

You can grab this same bodysuit by clicking HEEEEERE!

My favorite thing to pair with a bodysuit is an awesome pair of boyfriend jeans. The pair of boyfriend's that I am wearing are my trusty Topshop pair that I have had for 10000000 years. I swear they are going to last until I am 80.

Since boyfriend jeans are on the baggier side, they give off that perfect contrast of a super tight fitting top and super loose fitting bottoms. Whenever I wear this combo, I alwaysss match it with a awesome belt around my waist to clinch any looseness on my waist, which is always a flattering look.

Win, win.

OOOOOOH, and BTW. Yesterday I went to Urban Outfitters and I was just casually browsing the sale section when and I came across this fringe bag.. and I almost started crying happy tears. A few months ago I saw this bag at full price and I wanted to buy it so bad. But it was $109.00.

So, uh, I put it back on the self.

Buuuuuuuut, yesterday there was one kinda stuffed in the sale section and it was marked at $19.99.... YAAAAAY! I grabbed and bought it so quickly. I am so so happy. It is perfection.

You can buy the same bag by clicking HERE , but sadly it is not as cheap online.

Sooooorry bout' that.

Well cuties, thanks for reading. Have a faaaabulous Monday!

Itty bitty playsuit // Joshua Tree

Ohhhh Helllllo There.

Today is HOT! Its only 11:30 am right now and I think the temperature is going to be reaching the high 80's today. Since it's my off day today, I think my entire day will be spent inside the AC with a cold beer... or two. Sounds pretty nice huh?

High fives alllll around today.

As you may already know, this past weekend I spent my 23rd birthday in the beautiful Joshua Tree. Joshua Tree was such a magical place because I literally felt like I was looking at a Dr. Seuss book or something. Joshua Tree is known for their, uh, Joshua Tree's.. lol. Aparently Dr. Seuss went to Joshua Tree and got his inspiration for his book The Lorax.

Hmmmm, I think I believe it.

Anywhoooo, I took full advantage of the retro 70's vibe that Joshua Tree gave off and wore this adorable (and extremely tiny) playsuit from ThreadSense. ThreadSense is this totally awesome online boutique that is based right here locally in Fullerton.

Awesome, right?!

I love supporting businesses that are based so close to my home since I love the convenience that they allow for me to just pick up new stuff immediately. If you live locally and place your online order before 10 am, you can actually pick up your order at their actual warehouse in one hour!

Its almost too convenient not to shop there all the time..

Ouch, my wallet.

You can pick up my same playsuit by clicking HERE

I absolutely am obsessed with the color and pattern of this playsuit because it totally gives off this relaxed/ bohemian/ 70's vibe. And quite honestly, the 70's style is my favorite and I have been noticing lately that most of my clothing has been leaning towards those vibes.

Whatever, I'm not complaining.

Alsooooo, I need to point out that ThreadSense is literally always having sales. So if you hate paying full price for anything (pshhh like me) you'll be obsessed with this boutique.

Check them out now... just click HEEEEERE

Thanks for reading!

TTYL. Duh.

Joshua Tree Golden Hour

Hiiii ya pepes.

I am strugglin a tad' this Monday morning because I just got home from a rad weekend away in the desert. And I really do not want to accept the fact that I have to go to work today.. Ugh.

Buuuut, the good thing about weekend getaways is that once its over, its time to plan the next adventure.

Am I right? Or am I right?

Well, this past weekend was spent in the beautiful town of Joshua Tree. This was the first time I have ever been to Joshua Tree and my goodness, it was so beautiful and peaceful. Driving into Joshua Tree from Los Angeles was like driving into another world. Everything and everyone seemed to just take life a whole lot slower there. And that was definitely a nice change and refresher for the weekend.

Now onto my outfit.

I brought this kinda-maxi dress with me to Joshua Tree because I felt like it really embodied the whole "deserty" feels. It is made by the great Amuse Society, who else right? They tend to create the cutest and most unique pieces/prints that remind me of warm days in the desert. OHHH, and this exact dress is 50% off right now.. get on that right now babes.

You can find the dress my clicking HERE

You all probably have seen my bag before in a few Instagram shots, and also a post from a few weeks ago. Its by Elle Jay bags if you needed a quick reminder, and you can check them out on their Instagram @ElleJay.bags

THIS BAG IS SO CUTE. I AM OBSESSED.

Thanks for reading boo's. Another Joshua Tree post will be up soon ;)

Hehe.
