INK WAFFLES // SANTA ANA

INK WAFFLES
Santa Ana, CA

Santa Ana has a new hangout spot in downtown called 4th Street Market and, guys let me tell you, it rules! I came here after a long day at school just to wonder around and find something yummy to grub on, and I stumbled upon this little waffle shop called Ink Waffles. Instead of ordinary waffles with maple syrup, they serve up greek style waffles, avocado waffles, sesame waffles, mexican style waffles... and the list goes on.
I grabbed a Mexi-Cola, even though i'm not a soda drinker.. shh, and enjoyed my gyro style waffle :)

Need some juice in your life?

Pressed Juicery

What can I say, I have completely jumped on to the juicing bandwagon. During the last month I have endured a juice cleanse, tried every juice stop possible, and become a juice freak! From all the different juice places I have tried, my favorite of all is absolutely Pressed Juicery. The closest one to me is the fairly new location at Fashion Island in Newport Beach.

After doing some research, I discovered that Pressed Juicery started as a small business. They juiced every night and sold bottles out of their tiny Brentwood storefront in LA. Over time, they opened more and more shops and eventually this leads to where they are today!

I love Pressed Juicery because they have sooo many options for everyone! With over 30 different flavors to choose from, I know that whatever my mood and taste is for the day I can satisfy it by coming to Pressed Juicery.

My favorite little local coffee shops

Portola Coffee Lab
Settled in The OC Mix Mart in Costa Mesa you'll discover the cutest and trendiest coffee shop of all time. The barista's wear lab coats while the freshly brew each coffee is ordered.. yes, every single one. They remind me of scientists that are creating some sort of secret potion or something. I could just sit all day and sip on my fresh brew and people watch and be perfectly content with my day. The coffee is A+ here!

Talia's
Talia's is located in Whittier right near where I currently live. It popped up right after our Starbucks was closed down and moved to another location. I was quite thrilled when Talia's replaced Starbucks because, to be honest, I am not the biggest Starbucks fan. I love having local coffee shops that are walking distance because it just makes life easier :)

Cafecito Organico
This is one of my newest discoveries in the coffee shop world. Cafecito Organico is located in the adorable Anaheim Packing District where it shares its space with many other local foodies. Its small and quaint and the coffee/espresso is delicious. The vibe is completely industrial and desert-y and you just can't help but feel like the cool kid in this place.

The best days

Thursdays.. my favorite day of the week because it always falls on my day off work and school. Zachary and I decided to drive down to Laguna Beach to spend the afternoon window shopping and lounging on the beach. We stopped at Whole Foods to pick up our favorite brews and a few little snacks to enjoy while watching the sunset at Thousand Steps Beach.. romantic huh? Here are a few of my favorite snap shots from our day.

3rd street and Broadway

Today, my friend and I went to brunch at Toast bakery and chit-chatted about our lives. After brunch we roamed the LA streets and found this Colette Miller painting. Naturally, we posed and snapped iPhone pictures of each other for our social media accounts. Today was a very beautiful day to be alive and in Los Angeles.
